France President, Emmanuel Macron, has hosted a private dinner with President Bola Tinubu at the Élysée Palace.
Tinubu made this known in a post shared on X handle on Friday amid his ongoing annual leave.
The Nigerian president, in the statement, expressed his delight in meeting Macron.
He disclosed that the conversation between them during the dinner centred on building strong relationship between Nigeria and France
‘It was a pleasure to share a private dinner with President Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée Palace in Paris, Emmanuel Macron.
‘Our conversation reaffirmed the strong friendship between Nigeria and France, as well as our shared commitment to deepening cooperation and building a mutually beneficial partnership between our two nations.

‘I thank President Macron for his warm hospitality and friendship.’ He wrote.
Tinubu had since his election as President made France his preferred destination for his vacation break.
This had since the Nigerian president establishment mutual relationship with Macron who is a big admirer of Nigeria where he spent good number of years at during his time as a diplomat.
