Nigerian singer Mayorkun has reunited with Afrobeats superstar Davido on a new song titled “B4 B4”, set for release on July 31.
Mayorkun announced the collaboration in a post on his Instagram page on Wednesday, sharing a promotional photo of himself and Davido with the caption: “New Music! This Friday! ‘B4 B4’ #Oriade.”
The track is one of the songs on Davido’s forthcoming album, “Oriadé.”
The announcement has sparked excitement among fans, industry watchers and fellow entertainers across social media.
Davido also reacted to the post, commenting: “WE BACK.”
Several celebrities have since celebrated the reunion, with many expressing anticipation for the release.
The collaboration marks the duo’s first musical outing since Mayorkun, popularly known as “The Mayor of Lagos,” left Davido’s DMW record label in 2021 to continue his career as an independent artiste.
Over the years, Davido and Mayorkun have delivered several hit collaborations, including “Prayer” (2017), “Mind” (2018), “Bobo” (2018), “Betty Butter” (2020), “The Best” (2020), and “Cho Cho” (2021).
