A yet-to-be identified motorist is feared dead after being allegedly pushed off the bridge by policemen in Lagos.
The incident reportedly occurred along the Ojota-Maryland axis of the Ikorodu Road on Friday.
According to an eyewitness, the motorist was alleged to have engaged in confrontation with the police officers attached to the Bus Rapid Transport, BRT, Taskforce team.
While the actual circumstances surrounding the incident is currently unknown, the eyewitness alleged that the officers pushed the motorist off the Odo-Iya Alaro Bridge which left him landing awkwardly.
Video of the incident shared on Instagram showed the motorist lying motionless as pedestrians and onlookers gathered around him.
Meanwhile, no statement has issued by the police to confirm the development and the allegation against its officers as at the time of filing this report.
