A Nigerian graduate, Nnabuike Chisom, has left the Chinese audience at the Zhongnan University of Economics and Law in Wuhan, China, stunned as he delivered his Master’s graduation speech in fluent Mandarin.
Nnabuike, who took to the stage to deliver the keynote address on behalf of all graduating international students from the school, had since become an internet sensation as the video of his speech goes viral.
As seen in the clip circulating on social media, the graduating student showered enconium on the school community over the hospitality and kind gesture to him and other international students.
“Wuhan is different everyday. My alma matter is unforgettable.
“Here, teachers provide guidance, sincere company from classmates.
“The cafeteria master never shakes his hand when serving food. Aunt Cleaning will chat enthusiastically everytime we meet.
“Their greetings were so warm.
“When we meet,, it is not just about ‘Have you eaten?
“There is also the most down-to-earth soul-searching questions.
‘Young man, how old are you? Do you have partner?
‘The weather is hot you need to drink more water.
‘Look how tan you are.” He said in Mandarin.
While expressing his love for the hospitality of the community, Nnabuike announced plan to commence his PhD at the university.
His speech had since sparked reactioms from netizens who congratulated him over his academic success while commending his fluency in the Chinese language.
