The Chief Imam of Ilaro, Shiekh Tajudeen Aremu Mustapha-Adewunmi, has arrived at the Ilaro Central Mosque ahead of the burial of later veteran Nollywood actor, Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, at his hometown in Ogun State.
Hassan who passed away on Sunday at the age of 66 is set to be buried today in Ilaro.
NPO Reported that the veteran actor died around 3:00pm yesterday after prolonged battle with Stage Four Cancer.
His demise had since thrown the Nollywood industry into a state of mourning as colleagues and fans paid tribute to the late actor.
Shortly after the news of Hassan’s death, fellow veteran actor, Jide Kosoko, announced the funeral of his late colleague.
The deceased actor is due to be laid to rest by 11am on Monday in acclrdance to Islamic rite.
The funeral is also tipped to be attended by several Nollywood stars and notable dignatries.
