Super Falcons striker and six-time CAF Women’s Player of the Year, Asisat Oshoala, has joined Saudi Arabian club, Al Hilal.
The prolific forward on Tuesday completed her move from the United States’ Bay FC to the Saudi Women’s League side on an undisclosed fee.
Oshoala had yesterday arrived in the Arab nation for her medicals after just one and half year with Bay FC.
The 30-year-old reportedly joined the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) in February 2024, signing from European giants Barcelona Women.
She netted eight goals across 38 appearances for Bay FC, which contradicted her fiery persona in front of goal during her stint at Barcelona.
Her recent dip in form was however noticeable during the 2025 Women’s African Cup of Nation (WAFCON) campaign which Nigeria won in Morocco.
However, Oshoala’s having played for top clubs across Europe with remarkable stints at Arsenal and Liverpool.
Prior to her move to Barcelona, the Super Falcons player spent two seasons at Chinese side, Dalian Quanjian.
