Afrobeats superstar, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to resume the upload of election results on its Results Viewing (IReV) portal following a pause in the process.
Davido made the call in a post on his official X account on Saturday night, simply writing: “UPLOAD THE REST OF THE RESULTS @inecnigeria.”
Checks by our correspondent on the IReV portal showed that the most recent result available for viewing was uploaded at about 8:48pm.
The apparent pause in the upload of results has attracted the attention of voters, political party supporters and others closely monitoring the collation and transmission of results from polling units across Osun State.
As of the time of filing this report at about 10:42pm, INEC had yet to resume the upload of further results on the portal. The commission had also not publicly responded to Davido’s call as of press time.
