The Edo governor gave the charge while speaking at the All Progressives Congress stakeholders meeting and campaign for the party’s governorship candidate, Bola Oyebamiji.
While endorsing Oyebamiji’s candidacy, Okpebholo, in his address, made mockery of Adeleke who was renowned for showcasing his dancing skills at public events.
‘Before he signs papers, he will dance. Are you not tired. For four years, this man has been dancing.
‘Before he takes breakfast, he will dance.
‘I was asking my friend now and he said I can’t even remember when last I saw this man in our general meeting in Abuja.
‘Before he even enters the plane, he will dance. Before he gets there, they have closed. He doesn’t know the reality of today.
‘A governor that is not working, the best gift for him is to send him out of that state’ Okpebholo said.
The Edo governor presented Oyebamiji to the party members, urging them to support him and work for his victory.
He also urged the supporters to collect any inducement offered to them by opposition parties to buy their vote but ensure the cast the vote for Oyebamiji
‘If they bring money, chop that money but don’t vote for them.
‘They said they have money to spend. Just collect the money and keep it in your pocket.
‘That man is Obaseki’s friend. You know we kicked Obaseki out of Edo, we have to kick this man out of this place too. Edo people chop Obaseki’s money, but they never vote for him.
‘This is the man that stand for the development of this state.
‘This is the man that will develop your schools. He build road for you with concrete pavements. Roads that will last for 80 years and above.’ He said.
