Says Dancing Does Not Affect Work

Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has fired back at the Gboyega Oyetola-led All Progressives Congress chapter over criticism of his administration and his dancing hubby.
Adeleke held that the criticism by the Osun APC was borne out of jealousy by Oyetola.
The governor stated this at the ongoing Town Hall meeting hosted by Arise TV on Tuesday in Osogbo.
Speaking during a panel session, Adeleke maintained that Oyetola is still pained by his defeat in 2022.
He accused the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy of causing pain for Osun people under the guise of working for President Bola Tinubu.
‘They are jealous of me because they cannot dance in the first place. In our family, we are jolly good fellow.
‘Music runs in our blood and nobody cannot me from dancing. That however does not stop my work.
‘Gboyega Oyetola is still suffering from pain of defeat. He has caused a lot for Mr. President.
‘He has caused a lot of problems in Osun state. Gboyega, if you are listening to me, this is democracy.
‘Just because I defeated you, go and sit down. It is Osun people that we decide.
‘You used Mr. President’s name.’ He said.
Adeleke further accused Oyetola of orchestrating the killings and intimidations in Osun while recalling his reluctance to sign the peace accord.
‘You allowed people to be killed. You have arrested Accord members. As I’m talking to you,
‘I spoke with Bishop Matthew Kukah because I did not come to that signing. But he said I should come.
‘Our candidate, Popoola is still languishing in jail in Abuja for what.
‘If you know that you can win, why are you using Federal might to arrest and intimidate? Osun people are ready, come this Saturday, I will emerge victorious.’ He said.
Adeleke reiterated that his dancing does not affect his work which he claimed will speak for him at the poll.
‘Dancing is my hubby and it does not affect my work.
‘Go and fact check it and you will how much I’ve done. And let me tell you something, my people love me.
‘I contested in 2018, the whole world knew I was cheated. I went back to America to complete my education. I came back in 2022 to defeat the incumbent, Gboyega Oyetola.
‘Our works speaks for themselves. A lot of people came to Osun state, and they missed their way because of the infrastructures we have accomplished.
‘The APC is Osun state, all they do is talk, propaganda. 12 years of their administration gave Osun pain.
‘They were paying half-salary. I’m the one who came to complete the half salary.’ He said.
Speaking on the alleged substandard road projects in the state, Adeleke maintained that the road projects were carefully constructed by certified engineers.
‘Why will I come and do substandard projects? I used certified engineers.
‘We are talking about substandard road, what have they done.
‘Let them continue to do their propaganda but I have good news for them. When they go low, we go high.’ He said.
