The polling unit of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) Governorship candidate, Najeem Salam, has been thrown into pandemonium as suspected thugs destroy voting materials.
The incident occurred at Unit 003, Iroyin Ayo Open Space, Ward 004, Ejigbo, where voters had gathered to cast their ballots in the Osun State governorship election.
NPO Correspondent observed that the suspected thugs stormed the polling unit, smashing vehicles and creating panic among voters and other residents at the scene.
The attack reportedly forced several voters to flee the area for safety.
The development disrupted the voting exercise as voters and electoral officials reportedly moved away from the polling unit amid the confusion and tension.
