A Nigerian Pastor has rained curses on his church youth leader who diverted the congregation’s contribution for the construction of the church’s youth hall to travel abroad.
In a dramatic announcement made before his congregation, the clergyman disclosed receiving a message from the youth leader, whose identity was not disclosed, expressing his gratitude to the church for sponsoring his trip.
The youth leader, according to the Pastor, claimed that God used the church to sponsor the travel, adding that he will pay back the money in one year with interest.
It was discovered that the youth leader had relocated to Hungary with the project fund.
“Hello brethren. There is an update on the brother who ran away with the money meant for the youth hall. I am talking about the youth President.
“This morning, we received a message from him. In his message, he thanked the church for sponsoring his travelling abroad. He said he prayed for a destiny helper and God finally used the church to sponsor the travel. Can you imagine?
“He even told us not to panic about the money that he will pay back with interest in one year. From the message, we discovered he travelled to Hungary.” the Pastor announced.
While dismissing the youth leader’s claim that God sponsored the travel, the enraged clergyman announced that the church will embark on fasting and prayer for him suffer immense hunger in the European country until returns to Nigeria.
“Brethren, it was never God who used the church to sponsor that travel. No. He stole from the house of God. How can he run away with the money meant for the construction of the youth hall and still say it was God?
“Since he travelled to Hungary, this church will fast and pray for him to suffer immense hunger in that Hungary. Does he think we are all happy staying in this country?
“If I see opportunity, will I not travel too? Highest, I will continue my church on TikTok over there. He must be hungry in that country called Hungary until he returns to this country.” He added.
