Nigerian livestreamer and content creator, Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, has legally tied the knot with his heartthrob and fellow content creator, Elizabeth Amadou, popularly known as Jarvis, at the Ministry of Interior’s Marriage Registry.
The couple, on Wednesday, appeared before the registry for the court marriage ahead of their wedding slated to hold on Saturday.
Videos shared on X showed the couple flaunting their marriage certificate as they posed for picture outside the registry.
The couple would later disclose this in a joint Instagram post on Wednesday.
“Congratulations to us. The first chapter of our forever starts here. Court wedding done, forever to go, “the post reads.
The post featured photographs of the newlyweds in matching wedding attire.
They also acknowledged members of the team that handled the ceremony, including their stylist, photographer, makeup artist and event planner.
The announcement has attracted congratulatory messages from celebrities, colleagues and fans, with many offering prayers and well wishes ahead of their white wedding.
Media personality Kemity congratulated the couple, while gospel singer Ebuka Songs wrote, “Big Congratulations Ogo,” in the comment section.
Actress Jenni Frank, content creator Oye Olohun TV and several other entertainers also extended goodwill messages, wishing the couple a successful marriage.
Fans equally flooded the comment section with congratulatory messages, with many describing the wedding as “the beginning of a beautiful journey” for the couple.
Prior to the court marriage, Peller and Jarvis had last month held an introduction ceremony in Edo state with their families and friends in attendance, bringing an end to the controversies surrounding their relationship which hit rock bottom in December with their breakup.
They had however reunited since Peller’s accident with Peller paying Jarvis’ bride price at the introduction ceremony to affirm their relationship.
