A popular Yoruba actor Azeez Ololade Ijaduade, has been reportedly shot by a policeman in the Remo area of Ogun state on Saturday.
The actor, who is also a movie director was allegedly shot on set Saturday by a yet to be named police personnel.
One of his colleagues, Biola Adebanjo disclosed the development via his Instagram page where he called for help for Ijaduade who is said to be at a critical state.
The actor said his director had been taken to the Babcock University Teaching Hospital where is currently being attended to. “Please, we need help in Iperu. My Director @Kingzeez1 has been shot by Nigerian police personal (sic)… He is presently at Babcock University teaching hospital.
Please, We need help,” he wrote. NPO Reports could not confirm what transpired leading to the alleged shooting of the actor at the time of filing this report. Commissioner of Police for Ogun State, Mr. Abiodun Alamutu, was yet to respond to an inquiry sent to him Sunday morning.
