A group of Pro-Tinubu Protesters were, yesterday, booed and jeered by aggrieved residents during their solidarity march in Rivers.
As seen in a viral video on X, the alleged state-sponsored protesters, under the aegis of Coalition of Renewed Hope Family, were subjected to abuse and insult from residents as they drove past.
Rivers have been thrown into tantrums of clashes and political unrest over the year due to disagreement between incumbent governor, Siminalayi Fubara and FCT Minister Nyesom Wike.
During the #EndBadGovernance protest, Wike’s residence was stormed by protesters.
Another political crisis ensued last week as explosion rocked Action People’s Party’s (APP) Secretariat ahead of local government elections.
Meanwhile, according to reports, there are claims of Fubara’s likely defection from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to the Action People’s Party.
