The family rift between renowned Nigerian afrobeats twin legend, Peter and Paul Okoye, popularly known as PSquare, and their brother, Jude Okoye, has taken a deeper dive as Peter narrated to the public how Jude threatened to kill his wife, Lola, while calling his son a bastard.
Peter, now known as Mr. P since the split of PSquare franchise, made the new revelation in a video posted on his Instagram handle on Thursday.
Mr. P had in the video which he labelled as Part 8 of his revelation slammed Jude over a video where he promised to gift N1 million to anyone who can send him a post where he abused Lola.
Peter in reaction recounted how Jude had repeated abused his wife, threatening to kill her while also calling his son a bastard.
He recalled a peace meeting with former Cross Rivers State Governor, Liyel Imoke, where Jude allegedly threatened to kill Lola after the governor urged Peter and Paul to sack Jude.
‘We all known Jude is using Paul as a decoy. You are trying to manipulate Paul to say somethings online so that at the end of the day, you will set up Paul for dragging.
‘Look at the innocent post that Lola posted to wish I and Paul a happy birthday. That is Paul’s response, now look at Jude’s comment. There had never been a time that Paul had a physical altercation, argument, or insult Lola.
‘But Jude side is opposite. Jude has threatened her. In front of me, Jude has insulted Lola.
‘It was actually Governor Emoke who invited us over for peace talk. By the time we arrived, he looked at Paul who started talking and ended his talk.
‘He said ‘Jude, your turn’ and he started talking. Let me tell you what that governor did that day. He said ‘Peter, you are not going to say anything’.
‘I thought it was a teamwork. I asked why I am not going to speak. He said Peter, I don’t think you need to say anything.
‘He said ‘Peter, Paul, if I were you guys, do you know who your problem is. It is this Jude. If I were you guys, fire him.
‘That was when Jude said, ‘you know what, anywhere they see Lola, they shoot her’.
‘Jude you have so many times insulted Lola in front of me, in front of people.
‘What if I tell you that Jude has insulted and called my son a bastard in front of me and Lola.’ Peter said.
The singer further recalled how Jude and Paul’s feud with Lola began after he announced her pregnancy during an edition of the Headies Award night.
Peter recalled dedicating one of the three Headies award he won to Lola and the child.
According to him, his brothers had angrily worked away from the event after his announcement.
They would charge him hours after the drama to ensure Lola get rid of the baby.
Mr. P also narrated several plots by Jude and Paul to ensure that the baby was aborted or for him to disown the pregnancy.
Notable among the plots was an alleged forged e-mail message intended to frame up Lola and pitch him against her.
‘Nothing Jude and Paul didn’t do for Lola to take that pregnancy out to a point that they forged an e-mail to frame Lola up.
‘I was on my own in room one day and Paul came to me and said Jude sent you message. I checked my phone. He said no be for phone.
‘Na for your e-mail. I checked. I read that e-mail for nearly about 20 minutes. An unknown person sent an e-mail to Jude and Jude now forwarded it to me.
‘It was obscene and rubbish. According to them, the unknown person claimed that my son is not my son. That Lola is using the child to trap me.
‘They mentioned about four notable names that either of them got Lola pregnant.
‘He said ‘you don read am finish. Ehn wetin we go do about am’. I said what are you expecting me to do. He said Peter this thing go kill our career.
‘Kill what career Paul. That my girlfriend is pregnant. Paul left. I didn’t bother. I forwarded that e-mail to Lola.’ He said.
