Seun Kuti, son of late afrobeats legend, Fela Kuti, has stormed out of the wedding of Nigerian content creator, Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, after the MC of the event, said that the afrobeat singer, Wizkid, is better than Fela.
Seun had on Saturday made an appearance at Peller’s wedding with fellow content content creator, Elizabeth Amadou, popularly known as Jarvis.
His stay at the event would however be short-lived after the MC allegedly raised the controversial Wizkid and Fela debate.
While the MC’s act was percieved by some as a light joke, Seun however appeared upset as he immediately left the wedding hall.
Video shared on X captured moment he left, claiming to have come to the wrong place.
“Some people are smoking weed here.
“We are in the wrong place.” He said as he walked out of the hall.
The scene had sparked mixed reactions from netizens with some slamming Seun while others faulted the MC for such joke.
Others however refuted the claim that the MC raised the Wizkid and Fela debate as the clip did not capture the exact moment the event compere made the statement.
