Nigerian Afrobeats star, Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, has released a teaser for his forthcoming single, “TEA,” scheduled for release on Friday.
The “Calm Down” crooner shared a 26-second preview of the track on his X handle on Wednesday, captioning the post, “TEA Friday.”
Produced by American record producer Mustard, the teaser shows Rema riding a motorcycle at dusk while previewing the song.
Marking Rema’s first single of 2026, the announcement has sparked excitement among fans ahead of its official release.
Fans have also taken to social media to express anticipation for the collaboration between the Nigerian singer and the U.S. producer.
The artist born Benin City, rose to prominence after signing with Jonzing World in 2019 and has since established himself as one of Afrobeats’ leading global stars.
His debut album, “Rave & Roses,” was released in 2022, while his second studio album, “HEIS,” followed in 2024.
“TEA” comes after the release of “Goals,” the official FIFA World Cup 2026 soundtrack, further underscoring Rema’s growing global influence in Afrobeats.
