Mixed reactions have trailed the deadly building collapse at Baale-Ajuwon area of Ogun State as eywwitnesses recounted the incident which claimed three lives.
NPO Reported that the incident which killed a 14-year-old girl, her mother, and a tenant, occurred on Monday afternoon.
The building reportedly collapsed during a heavy downpour at about 2:00p.m yesterday.

As the events unfold this morning, rescue operation teams were still on ground to evacuate the remains of the building.
Meanwhile, some of the eyewitnesses who spoke with our correspondent described the incident as a shock, stressing that the building showed no sign of weakness before the collapse.
They held that the community is not a swampy area to have warranted such collapse.

“The area is not swampy, and the building was not weak.
“The ground floor and the second floor sank completely. It was a two-storey building, so the top floor remained standing while the lower floors sank completely,” an eyewitness said.
Other eyewitnesses also maintained that the building was structurally sound, describing it as unusual for a two-storey building to sink into the ground.
Rescue officials were still at the scene evacuating debris from the collapsed building.
It was confirmed that three people died, while 11 others were rescued.
