President Bola Tinubu has on Monday asked his aides who are allegedly spreading talks about his Chief of Staff being corrupt to stop it.
Tinubu, while speaking at the Federal Executive Chamber on Monday, said his ears are full of growing talks about the Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila. Warning against what he called “campaign of calumny,” the President said “I’ve heard stories flying around. Mistakes will be made and perfection is only for God Almighty.
“I have 100% confidence in the integrity of my Chief of Staff, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila.
“All campaign of calumny against him must stop.”

NPO Reports that Gbajabiamila had been at the centre of many allegations of corrupt enrichment especially as gratifications for nominations of persons for positions.
There were insinuations that the appointment of former Head of Service in Lagos state, Hakeem Muri-Okunola, was part of Tinubu’s move to reduce the powers of the Chief of Staff.
