The factional National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has arrived in Ibadan, Oyo state’s capital, ahead of the national summit organised by opposition political parties.
Turaki landed at the Ibadan Airport on Saturday morning accompanied by some other factional leaders of the PDP.
The PDP factional leaders are set to join other leaders from opposition political parties, particularly from the African Democratic Congress (ADC) at the summit.
NPO Reported that the summit which had the theme; “That we may work together for a united opposition to sustain our democracy” was slated to commence by 10am with former President, Olusegun Obasanjo, as the Chairman of the Occasion with Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, as its Chief Host.
