Halimah Taiwo, daughter of Veteran Nollywood actor, Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, has cried for help as she announced her father’s battle with cancer.
Halimah made announcement in an emotional video shared on social media platforms on Monday.
The daughter of the veteran actor disclosed that Ogogo is battling with Stage 4 cancer, and the hospital has stopped treating him and administering chemotherapy due to the critical condition.
Meanwhile, Halimah said that the family is not soliciting for money as the All Progressives Congress Governorship candidate for 2027 Ogun State Gubernatorial Election, Sen. Adeola Solomon, popularly known as Yayi, has been sponsoring the bill for his treatment.
Rather, the family, according to the visibly emotional lady, seeks help of anyone who can treat cancer either medically or traditionally.
‘Hello everyone. I’m here for my Daddy. He has cancer and it is stage four.
‘The hospital is saying that they can’t treat him again and they can’t even give him chemo again.
‘So please we are not here to beg for money. I really want to appreciate Senator Yayi. He has been the one helping us and footing the bill.
‘What I’m here for is that if you can treat my Daddy and do cancer chemo for him or do herbs, please I don’t want my Daddy to die.’ She said.
Halimah further appealed to public for assistance as she revealed Ogogo’s fear of dying.
‘Please I’m begging you. Anybody that you know can treat cancer, please just send me dm or my sister or even his own dm. My sister will get through his phone.
‘Please it is not money but if you know anybody that can treat my Daddy, please he is saying that he doesn’t want to die.’ She said.
