The United States President, Donald Trump, has threatened to stop all aids and assistance to Nigeria while reiterating his announced plan to carry military action against terrorists’ group in the country.
This is coming amid the ongoing controversies over the alleged Christian genocide in the country- a development which had seen Trump declared Nigeria a “Country of Particular Concern”.
The US President who had on Saturday announced the planned military action in a post on his Truth Social handle would publicly affirm his stance on the decision in a video shared on social media om Thursday.
As captured in the video, Trump disclosed that he has ordered the U.S Department of War to prepare for possible action against Nigeria which he labelled a ‘now disgraced country’.
He noted that the planned military attack will be fast, vicious, and sweet.
“If the Nigerian government continues to allow the killings of Christians, the USA will immediately stop all aids and assistance to Nigeria.
“We gonna do things to Nigeria that Nigerians are not gonna be happy about.
“We may very well go into that disgraced country, guns-blazing, to completely wipe out the Islamic terrorists group committing these horrible atrocities.
“I hereby instruct our Department of War to prepare for possible action. If we attack, it will be fierce, vicious, and sweet just like the terrorists attack our cherished Christians.” Trump declared.
