Orders FCT Minister to Stop Rivers Assembly’s Impeachment Plot against Governor

President Bola Tinubu has again intervened in the reignited feud between Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike.
Tinubu reportedly ordered Wike to stop the Rivers State House of Assembly’s impeachment plot against Fubara.
This was disclosed in a post shared on X on Tuesday.
According to the post, the President ordered the immediate suspension of the impeachment plot against the Rivers governor.
He however placed him on a condition to accept his predecessor and estranged political godfather, as the political leader of both the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.
The President further urged Wike to desist from instigating the impeachment plot against Fubara.
