Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has assured President Bola Tinubu of landslide victory at the forthcoming 2027 Presidential Election.
Uba maintained that the election has been concluded Tinubu securing 95 percent of votes.
The governor gave the assurance during his address at the flag-off ceremony for the 122 kilometres Kaduna-Birnin Gwari Road on Tuesday.
While commending the president and the Minister of Works, Dave Umahi, for the commencement of the project, Uba reaffirmed the northern Nigeria’s support for Tinubu re-election bid.
‘Whether we like it or not, Kaduna is the capital of Northern Nigeria. Kaduna’s development is a development for all the states in Northern Nigeria.
‘So, we are happy and grateful to the President for recognising that Kaduna is the heart of North Nigeria. We will continue to show our support to the President and brother, Dave Umahi.
‘2027 election has been concluded. I have no doubt in my mind that we are giving Mr. President at least 95 percent of the total votes. There is no doubt about it, and I stand to be challenged.’ He said.
Uba also highlighted some other ongoing project initiated by the Federal Government, stressing that Tinubu has done a lot for the state.
‘As we were speaking, I was just talking to the Honourable Minister. The Western Bypass is ongoing as you are aware from the Abuja junction down to Hekau Motor Park.
‘That is also construction undertaken by the Federal Ministry of Works under the able leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. We are also thinking about resuming the construction of Eastern Bypass.
‘All these things are things MR. President is doing for the people of Kaduna state.’ He said.
