Legendary Nigerian Afrobeat singer, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Face, has debunked claims of being arrested in the United Kingdom over a fight with his wife, Natasha Osawaru.
Rumours of 2Face’s arrest in London had yesterday spread on online few hours to his planned concert which was eventually cancelled.
Natasha was alleged to have broken bottles during a heated argument with the singer in a taxi, which supposedly led to his arrest.
Reacting in a video shared on Instagram on Friday, 2Face dismissed the claims as he urged online bloggers to stop spreading falsehood and unverified information.
The ‘African Queen’ hitmaker clarified that the show was cancelled due to health reasons, not because of any domestic altercation.
“First of all, I want to say everyone that came out, I appreciate you.
“We had a medical emergency, it was tough. To the organizers and everyone that came out, we go regroup and make something beautiful happen.
“And please, if una no sabi something, make una no talk abeg. This allegedly, I don tire,” he said.
Recall that the singer and Natasha had their traditional wedding on July 25, months after his split from actress Annie Idibia.
The duo had since several public appearances together as controversies surrounding their relationship slowly fades away.
