Governor of Anambra State Prof Charles Soludo has said that criminals have turned the state into a slaughter slab where blood of innocent people are used to desecrate the land.
In his reaction to increased violence of kidnapping and beheading in the state, the Governor said the development is a test of his administration’s resolve to face the problems headlong.
Recall that a member of the State House of Assembly Okechukwu Okoye and his aide were kidnapped two weeks ago while their heads were found at a village square two days ago.
“These are my brothers! Hon. Okechukwu Okoye (Okey dị okay) and Cyril Chiegboka were murdered in the most gruesome manner. No human being should ever have to experience death in that way,” the Governor lamented on Sunday,
The Governor said rather than be cowed by the activities of the criminals, his government is more resolute on challenging them and breaking their ranks.
“For no just reason, rampaging criminals have elected to desecrate our land with the blood of the innocent.
This is a test of our resolve, and we are more emboldened than cowed that this criminality MUST be stamped out of our land.”
