Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh, has returned to the Junior Secondary School Durumi II in Edo State to donate 10 brand new laptops days after performing controversial deliverance session on a female student in the school.
NPO Reported that Dikeh had last week visited the school alongside her team for an evangelical outreach.
She would however come under fire after shared a video of her holding a deliverance session for a female student alleged to be under the influence of marine spirits.
Despite the backlash, the actress would on Friday return to the school with the 10 new laptops for the students.
Dikeh in a post shared on her Instagram handle disclosed that she had promised to donate 30 laptops to the three different schools.
The actress expressed her delight with the donation of the first batch to the school which she labelled the beginning of an impactful initiative.
“Donating 30 laptops in support of My Evangelism Outreach β 10 each for three schools, is an investment in the future of these students and their communities.

The actress harped on the need to embrace digital literacy, stressing that access to laptops gives the students opportunity to develop technology skills and prepare them for opportunities in higher education.
“In todayβs world, digital literacy is no longer optional; it is essential.
“Access to laptops gives students the tools to explore knowledge beyond the classroom, develop critical technology skills, conduct research, and participate in a global learning environment.
“It also helps bridge the digital divide that often limits the potential of talented young minds simply because they lack the right resources.
“By equipping these schools with laptops, we are empowering students to learn more effectively, think creatively, and prepare for opportunities in higher education and the modern workforce.” She said.
The actress further maintained that the initiative, beyond donation of laptop, will open doors to innovation, confidence, and a future where these students can compete and thrive in an increasingly digital world.
