Nollywood actress, Toyin Abraham, has apologised to her fans over the drama that ensued between her and fellow colleague, Funke Akindele.
NPO Reported that the duo had on Sunday attended the premiere of the Return of Arinzo movie produced by fellow actress, Iyabo Ojo.
They however had a brief encounter which had since sent tongues waggling.
As captured in a now viral video, Abraham walked up to the table of Iyabo Ojo who had fellow actress, Mercy Aigbe, Akindele, and other colleagues sitting beside her.
Abraham on arrival stopped by to greet Iyabo while also exchanging pleasantries with others.
This would however not go down well with the actress as she approached Akindele who snubbed and ignored her presence while pretending to be carried away by the event anchor’s address.
The brief scene had since mixed reactions from netizens and stirred divides from fans of both actresses.
Meanwhile, an X user and Toyin Abraham’s fan, @Enitanolami, would in comment to the incident expressed her disappointment over the actress’ greeting of Akindele.
The fan urged Abraham to limit her greetings at occasions only to those who respect her.
“Dear Mummy Ire @toyin_abraham1 Edakun nii tori olorun we ur fans aren’t happy with what happened yesterday.
“Efi Kiki le fuun Eni tor deserve e please. Respect is Reciprocal .. Ema fii oju wa gbo ile beyen mor. We love u Always ma’am keep Shining” She wrote.
Abraham, in reaction with a comment written in Yoruba apologised to her fans as she vowed never to greet Akindele again.
“Emabinu simi, iru e ko tu ni somo lowo mi mo, I love you all” Abraham wrote in the comment which in English read, ‘Pleasedon’t be upset with him. Such will not happen again. I love you all”.
