A resident of Kwara State has raised alarm over the growing insecurity in Woro community of Kwara State, revealing that suspected terrorists have forced residents to flee their homes.
This was contained in a clip posted by Isaac Fayose, the brother of former Ekiti State governor, Ayo Fayose.
“What we are witnessing at the moment in our land, we would have said is impossible. The situation of insecurity in our domain is beyond us,” the resident said.
According to him, the once-thriving community has now been deserted, with residents abandoning their homes, businesses, and farmlands in search of safety.
“This is our community, all deserted. People have fled for their lives, leaving their properties, businesses, and farms behind,” he added.
The resident noted that the area was previously known for its vibrant commercial and agricultural activities before the recent wave of attacks.
