Declares Self as Best Choice

Human rights activist, Omoyele Sowore, has declared himself as the best choice to lead Nigeria as he talked down the candidacy of former President Goodluck Jonathan for the 2027 Presidential Election.
Sowore held that Jonathan, alongside former Vice President Atiku Abubakar; 2023 Labour Party’s Presidential candidate, Peter Obi; and former Kano governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso, are not different from President Bola Tinubu.
The Sahara Reporters publisher made this known while addressing newsmen at the Federal High Court in Abuja on Thursday.
Sowore alleged that the political leaders cannot tolerate the progressive ideas that can liberate the country.
“Jonathan is not different from Tinubu. Tinubu is not different from Atiku. Atiku is not different from Obi or Kwankwaso.
“We are the ones that are different and that is the idea they are afraid of.
“If anyone of them is in power, I will still be here because they can’t tolerate the progressive ideas that can liberate the country.
“The best choice is standing right in front of you.
“I cannot be recommending people who failed you and call them better choice.” He said.
Sowore further alleged that the lawsuits against him were deliberate efforts to distract Nigerians while tying him down with litigations.
“Of course, the reason we are in court is because we are better than the rest of them. But they want to make sure you don’t get the best.
“The problem that people haven’t gotten yet is that most of them are just distracting you from the real solution to the problem. And one of their strategy is to keep is tied down in court.
“You have seen it now that their plan from day one is that seize his passport and when he gets it back, file another charge.
“They brought this one up. Brought the lawyers and the judges. But they did not anticipate that we will be growing stronger.” He added.
