Afro-house Queen and songwriter, Niniola Apata has announced the demsise of her husband.
The Grammy-nominated singer made the emotional revelation through a series of posts shared on her Instagram story in the early hours of Wednesday.
Her husband, Michael Ndika was the Chief Executive Officer of NaijaReview, a multimedia platform focused on afro-house music and contemporary African entertainment before his death.
In one of the posts, Niniola wrote, “God took him.”
In another post, she added, “My husband died.”
“God took him. 13 years. 13 f***ing years.”
NPO reports that the cause and circumstances surrounding Ndika’s death is yet to be disclosed.
Niniola has kept her private life away from public attention and social media over the years.
