Voting is ongoing peacefully at Ward 4, Unit 39, Odi-Olowo, Osogbo, with eligible voters turning out to cast their ballots in the Osun State governorship election.
The polling unit recorded an orderly process as voters queued up and waited for their turn. Electoral officials also gave priority to elderly voters, enabling them to vote ahead of younger people at the unit.
A 60-year-old voter identified as Sadia Raji said she arrived at the polling unit early and had successfully voted. She praised the security personnel for maintaining a friendly and peaceful atmosphere.
“I got here early and just cast my vote. The security peesonnelare friendly. They helped up me and assisted in casting my vote There is no fight here,” she said.
Security personnel were stationed at the polling unit to maintain order, while voters continued to conduct themselves peacefully as the voting exercise progressed.
