A tanker fully loaded with diesel has exploded in the Ojota area of Lagos on Monday. Though, there were no casualties at the time of filing this report, officials of the Fire service and those of the Lagos state Transport Management Agency were on ground to ensure normalcy returns.
Confirming the incident via its X handle, LASTMA said its personnel had deployed in the area.

The Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service also confirmed the incident adding that the flames had been brought under control.
“Situation in Ojota is under control as the peddler truck conveying Diesel inward Ketu that went on flame has been extinguished,” the post on X read.
