The Governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke, has visited the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, following his victory in the Osun governorship election.
Adeleke, who was accompanied by Nigerian singer Davido, paid a courtesy visit to Wike at his residence and presented his Certificate of Return to him on Thursday.
NPO Reported that Adeleke defeated the All Progressives Congress’ (APC) candidate, Bola Oyebamiji, during the Saturday governorship election
Following the win, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had on Wednesday presented the certificate to Adeleke in Osogbo, affirming his re-election and the commencement of another four-year tenure.
Prior to visiting Wike, Adeleke also presented his Certificate of Return to President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
