Nollywood actress Annie Macaulay has dismissed reports claiming she has reconciled with her estranged husband, music icon Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba.
The actress addressed the speculation on Monday through a post shared on her Instagram Stories, describing the reports as false.
Annie explained that the videos circulating online, which sparked rumours of a reunion between the former couple, were old clips that had been taken out of context.
“Old videos circulating everywhere, false news everywhere,” she wrote.
NPO Reports recalls that a videos resurfaced on social media showing Annie and 2Baba dancing together at a nightclub, prompting claims that the pair had rekindled their relationship.
Her statement has however dispelled the rumours.
NPO recalls that Annie and 2Baba had in January 2025 announced that their marriage had hit the rock, after more than a decade together.
Since the separation, the award-winning singer has moved on and is now married to Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru.
