The Academic Staff Union of Universities has called for a total strike as it said that the Federal Government does not appear to be serious on its negotiations. A cross section of Nigerians on Monday decried the high cost of transportation, attributing it to the fuel scarcity and activities of black marketers. They told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in separate interviews that fuel stations are hoarding the product to sell to black marketers who in turn sell to end users at exorbitant prices. An Osun High Court on Monday refused to grant bail to owner of the Hilton Hotels Ile Ife, Ramon Adedoyin. The court, presided over by Justice Adepele Ojo, refused to grant bail to other six suspects who are being accused of being responsible for the death of a late student of Obafemi Awolowo University Timothy Adegoke.
