The CCTV footage capturing moment suspected kidnappers abducted a yet-to-be-identified woman AT Vegetable Market along Airport Road in Edo State has surfaced online.
NPO Reported that the kidnappers had on Sunday stormed the market and attacked the woman and her husband.
The victim was returning from church with members of her family when they stopped at the popular market where the abduction occurred.
While her husband escaped from the kidnappers, the woman was abducted during the attack.
The CCTV footage shared on X on Monday showed moment the kidnappers arrived at the market in a red Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) parked beside the victim’s car.
The suspects shot one of its tyres with an initial attempt to abduct the husband by dragging him toward their vehicle.
He however managed to break free and escape, leading to the assailants’ pursuit of his wife, who was also trying to flee.
She was overpowered her and forcibly dragged her into their waiting vehicle before speeding away.
