A mild drama has on Thursday occurred along a busy Lagos road as a middle-aged man climbed the roof of a car to evade arrest by operatives attached to the state Police Command Tactical Team.
As narrated in a post shared on X on Thursday, the police operatives had reportedly trooped out of the unofficial Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) parked along the road.
According to eyewitness the armed officers approached the young man and demanded for his phone.
His resistance however saw the officers dragging him in an effort to force into the waiting car.
The scene had attracted the attention of passersby and onlookers who watched on as the drama unfolded.
Video attached to the post showed moment the unidentified man scaled up the vehicle and knelt on the car roof.
Efforts by the officers to get him down proved abortive as the gathering crowd charged the man not to come down while jeering the officers.
