Says Celebrates Egbetokun in Retirement

The Nigeria Police Force’s former Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, has lauded President Bola Tinubu’s appointment of Olatunji Disu as the acting Inspector-General of Police following the resignation of Kayode Egbetokun.
Adejobi, in a post shared on his X handle on Thursday congratulated Disu over his appointment.
He described in new acting IGP as a great and intelligent officer while recalling their time together at the Lagos State Police Command.
“Congratulations to the newly appointed Ag. IGP, Olatunji Disu. A great, intelligent officer and boss who directed many of my operations as OPS 1 and PPRO in Lagos. It’s the Lord’s doing.” Adejobi wrote.
The ex-Force spokesman also celebrated the immediate past IGP Egbetokun on his successful retirement.
“I also celebrate the immediate past IGP, Dr Olukayode Adeolu Egbetokun, a great mathematician, and security expert on his successful retirement. Long live the NPF, long live Nigeria.” He added.
NPO Reported that Egbetokun had on Tuesday tendered his resignation to Tinubu, citing family reason for his decision.
In the wake of his resignation, Tinubu announced the appointment of Disu as the new IGP.
