Former Osun state deputy governor, Iyiola Omisore, has lost his polling unit to the Accord Party’s candidate and incumbent governor, Ademola Adeleke, at the ongoing 2026 Governorship Election in the state.
Omisore failed to deliver his polling unit to the All Progressives Congress’ candidate, Bola Oyebamiji, as Adeleke swept the poll with 131 votes.
The APC gathered only 85 votes while the African Democratic Congress recorded just 10 votes.
Adeleke’s victory at Omisore’s polling unit has further served as a boost to the governor’s re-election bid having earlier recorded victory at the polling unit of former governor Olagunsoye Oyinlola.
