Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has met with Nigerian afrobeat legend, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as, 2face, and controversial singer, Habeeb Okikiola (Portable) during his vacation in London.
Makinde made appearance at 2face’s concert.
Videos shared on Instagram showed Portable walking up to greet Makinde following his arrival at the concert on Friday night.
The governor would later be invited on stage by 2face with another clip showing the singer whispering to Makinde before dancing with him during his performance.
The Oyo governor and 2027 Presidential candidate for the Allied People’s Movement (APM) joined the singer and his team for pictures.
Recall that the Oyo State House of Assembly had last month approved Makinde’s annual leave which started on the 10th of August.
He handed over power to his Deputy Governor, Bayo Lawal, who is to oversee the affairs of the state until the resumption of the governor by September 14.
