Former presidential aspirant and businessman, Dele Momodu, has warned the Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, of alleged plot by the All Progressives Congress, APC, to manipulate the forthcoming governorship election in the state.
Momodu gave the warning in a post shared on his X handle on Saturday.
The Ovation Magazine publisher alleged that the August 15 election will not be conducted free and fair by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, as he alleged influence of the poll by President Bola Tinubu.
Momodu further accused the APC of plot to use the Osun election as a rehearsal and what he described as nefarious preparation for the 2027 Presidential Election
‘My Twin Brother, I’m led in spirit to send you this brief message, for posterity sake. PLEASE, take note of the following:
‘Let no one deceive you that INEC, under the complete control of PRESIDENT BOLA TINUBU will organize free, fair and credible ELECTION in OSUN State next week, AUGUST 15, 2026.
‘The ruling APC government is determined to use your election as the dress rehearsal for their nefarious preparation for the Presidential election in January 2027.’ The media mogul wrote.
Momodu further alleged desperation by the APC to win the election.
He urged Adeleke to put his trust in God while challenging the APC to campaign with the work they’ve done in the past in the state.
‘The devil has taken possession of their hardened souls and they’re ready to play GOD because of POWER.
‘We have a lot of friends in APC and we’ve been warned to expect ANY eventuality.
‘The instruction to their foot-soldiers is simple: GRAB OSUN by any means NECESSARY and deal with the resultant volcano thereafter.
‘Please, hold on tightly to GOD as you’ve always been. We are proud of the uncommon work you’ve done and doing. Let them campaign with the work they did in the past… Little or nothing to show… YOU ARE LOVED.’ Momodu added.
