Nigerian dancer and socialite, Iweh Pascal Odinaka, popularly known as Poco Lee, has been charged with five sexual offences in the United Kingdom.
The charges, confirmed by Snaresbrook Crown Court in London, include attempted rape, two counts of rape and two counts of assault by penetration.
The court confirmed the charges on Wednesday following an inquiry by The Punch.
James Baker, the court’s Admin Team Leader, confirmed the charges in an email, stating: “The defendant has been charged with: Attempted rape, 2x Rape, 2x Assault by penetration.”
Baker also disclosed that the case had been listed for plea and trial preparation on September 15, 2026.
He said a reporting restriction had been imposed to protect the identity of the complainant in the case.
“There is a reporting restriction on the case provided. This order protects the anonymity of the complainant under section 1 of the Sexual Offences Amendment Act 1992,” Baker said.
The restriction prevents the publication of information that could lead to the identification of the complainant.
Poco Lee had previously been linked to reports concerning the case, with his management and legal representatives calling for restraint while the legal process runs its course.
Meanwhile, the allegations remain before the court and have not been proven.
