Popular Nigerian gospel artiste Sammie Okposo has died.
Information available to the NPO Reports indicates that the award winning singer slumped Friday morning and died immediately as a result of suspected heart failure.
The boss of Zamar Entertainment was not known to be a patient of hypertension before now.
There was no official family statement as at the time of filing this report.
Okposo came into the news again earlier this year when he made a mistake public apology over confessed cheating on his wife Ozioma who is based in the United States.
Some of his popular albums include Saved With Amazing Grace,
Addicted, No More Drama, Welu Welu (Unconditional Love) and others .

One of the first to react to the death of Okposo is chairman of the African Music Award, Michael Dada.
Dada, in his first response said it is hard to believe in the sudden death of the gospel artiste.
”It is hard to take..Rest well Sammie!” was his simple and short response on Friday .
Television personality Frank Edoho, in his response wrote “My friend Sammy Okposo has left us with a painful hollow in our hearts. I am saddened because he literally praised and worshipped God all the time. God probably needed that sonorous voice in heaven.
Da, Sammy! I will miss you, immensely!
Rest in Peace”
