The presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Wednesday met with president Muhammadu Buhari at the villa. The NPO Reports could not ascertain the purpose of the meeting which is about the second at the Villa in the last three days.
It was gathered that the meeting caused a delay by about one hour of the president to the Council chamber where the meeting of the Federal Executive Council held on Wednesday. The meeting came four days after the campaign rally of the All Progressive Congress which was not attended by the president. There have been speculations of possible mistrust between Tinubu and Buhari. The president is being suspected of pursuing a New naira policy that might jeopardise the chances of his own party at the elections. The presidential candidate himself had earlier accused some Aso Rock cabal of instigating fuel shortage and Naira redesign policy that would make Nigerians hate the APC at the poll.
