There are reports that the men of the Nigerian Police the Oyo State command have rescued the younger sister of the immediate former Minister of Power, Bayo Adelabu, Mrs Adegoke John-Paul and her children.
NPO Reports gathered that Mrs John -Paul and her twin sons were rescue in an operation led by the police leading to release of the woman her children and recovery of some arms.
Recall that Adelabu’s sister and her children were abducted on Friday at the Elewura area of Ring Road when she was on her way to drop her children in school.
Meanwhile, a late-night rescue operation was reportedly carried out around 7:30 p.m. on Saturday as the police officers came in contact with the suspected kidnappers.
A gun duel ensued in the course of the operation with the police officers neutralising two of the kidnappers while two firearms were recovered from the gang.
“The story is true. Wait for the official press release as to when. But the rescue operation was carried out this evening.” Olayinka said.
