Jamiu Olawumi, the former Special Adviser on Education to ex-Osun state governor, Gboyega Oyetola, has accused his old principal of being reponsible for the unrest across the local councils in the state.
Olawumi alleged that the current Mnister of Marine and Blue Economy has been tinkering with the peace of the local councils over the past one year.
The ex-aide made the alllegation during an interview on the Western Spring TV programme.
He maintained that the Osun All Progressives Congress (APC), under the leadership of Oyetola, has been irresponsible in the state.
“A party through the leadership of the former governor has been so irresponsible that to the people of Osun state that you cannot find peace at the local government level for the past one year plus.
“And who is tinkering with the peaceful conduct of the council is Oyetola.” Olawumi said.
Speaking on the motive behind his defection to the Accord Party and the party’s promise to him, Olawumi expressed readiness to work for the party as he hinted possible reward from the party.
“I don’t go to anywhere where I know I have capacity and be hesitant of what will you give me. We are working together.
“It is a foolish man who in his compound they are pounding a yam and he has been foretold that you are not going to eat from this.
“But he is so senseless that he went to bring his mother to pound it.” He added.
